UCM Postgraduate Degrees: A Guarantee of Excellence and Prestige

Taking on professional challenges, such as developing complex positions that require deeper knowledge and skills, is often the goal of those who start a specialization beyond the undergraduate level.

In addition to the dream of deepening an area of interest, candidates for postgraduate and master’s degrees enjoy the legitimate aspirations of improving job qualifications and salaries, increasing employability and optimizing connections.

At Universidad Católica del Maule, we are committed not only to promoting new knowledge to broaden the employment horizon, but also to explore innovative fields, with the purpose of addressing emerging issues in a rapidly changing globalized world, with a special vocation for the challenges of the region, which should retain this advanced human capital. An example of this effort is the Doctorate in Ecosystemic Health, offered by UCM’s Center for Research and Advanced Studies of Maule, as the only program in Chile with a “One Health” approach. The postgraduate program, which received its second generation this year, entered its consolidation stage.

As a result of our innovative spirit, understood as courage and curiosity towards new things, we are also launching our first virtual program in 2024. The Master in Public Management, aimed at strengthening the analytical and methodological capacity of professionals interested in the subject, offers global access to training of excellence, without mobility requirements.

It is an originality that does not compromise on quality, as the most important pillar of all university activities, and has allowed us to grow in the number of certifications granted by the CNA, with seven doctorates and eight master’s degrees accredited by the country’s highest evaluation body.

Our graduates know that a specialization at Universidad Católica del Maule changes lives, because together with us they have acquired a greater sensitivity and concern for the human being and are now working towards the transformation of society to achieve more just and dignified states.
